Director of Cardiology

Magee Resource Group has been retained by a large multi-specialty physician practice in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area to recruit a Director of Cardiology. Reporting to the Vice President of Cardiology & Imaging, this leader will oversee clinical operations, drive process improvements, and support business development. The multi-site practice consists of 30 Cardiology providers, serving multiple hospitals. Areas of focus will include optimizing physician scheduling, enhancing charge capture efficiency, and facilitating appropriate procedures in the ambulatory setting while ensuring streamlined workflows and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in cardiology practice management, including Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology (EP).
• Strong expertise in charge capture, financial planning, and process optimization within a cardiology setting.
• Proven leadership with an executive presence, a hands-on approach, the ability to drive operational change, and a high value on evidence-based care.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business required, master’s degree in healthcare related discipline, business or management preferred.
